December Updates

Wow 2 weeks before Christmas break!!
I cannot believe how fast the year is going. The next couple of weeks are going to be busy for our class, here is some needed information.

Our class field trip to Black Creek Pioneer Village is this Tuesday December 13. Please ensure your child arrives to school on time as we will be leaving after morning announcements. Much of the day will be spent outside, therefore students need to dress for the weather, hats, mitts, snow pants etc..

The W. H. Day food drive has begun! Please send in non-perishable food items if you are able to, thank you to those who already have.

Mme Mumford grade 3 class is collecting items for pet shelters, food dishes, blankets, unopened pet food, as well as Canadian Tire money. If you wish to donate they will be except items until December 23, 2016.

I have added the December calendar to the ‘calendar’ page. Our class will be performing at two different Christmas assemblies the last week of school. The first performance will be Tuesday December 20th at 9:15am and the second performance will be Thursday December 22nd at 1:40pm. Parents are welcome to attend either assembly, we will be performing the same songs at both assemblies.

During the afternoon of Friday December 23rd we will have a class holiday celebration. Snacks are not required or expected. However, if you wish to send something in please make sure it is peanut free.
